2. The Journey (Curriculum Map)

Year 9 - Applied anatony and physiology

Year 10 - Applied anatony and physiology continued; aerobic and anaerobic respiration; the immediate effects of exercise; movement analysis, NEA

Year 11 - Sport psychology; NEA completion, health fitness and wellbeing; social-cultural influences; revision

3. The Destination (Exam Requirements & Goals) 

1. Paper 1 - 30% of total course (mixture of smaller mark Qs (1, 2, 3 & 4 mark) plus two extended writing questions (1 x 6 mark, 1 x 9 mark)

2. Paper 2 - 30% of total course (mixture of smaller mark Qs (1, 2, 3 & 4 mark) plus two extended writing questions (1 x 6 mark, 1 x 9 mark)

3. NEA - 10% of total course ( written coursework that candidates apply their theoretical knowledge to their own performance and the development of that performance)

4. Practical sport - 30% of total course ( 3 sports at 10% each. Must include either 2 team sports and 1 individual sport or 1 team sports and 2 individual sport)

Includes Pupil strengths weaknesses matrix linked to mathswatch video clip numbers, Peronalised revision booklets focusing on 5 key weaknesses from each paper they have submitted and video support.
